  • Led a team conducting a performance bottleneck simulation of a local restaurant. The results of our study were purchased by the restaurant's owner and implemented over the following year, helping to raise operating profit margin by 7%.

  • I am a committer and project management committee member on the Apache Tomcat project. The leading servlet container, Tomcat is used by numerous Fortune 1000 companies for mission-critical web application as well as internal research and development. I have been a contributor to the Tomcat project since 2001.
  • I am a committer for the Log4j toolkit and a member of the Logging Services Project Management Committee.
  • I have been involved with numerous Java libraries and other projects under the Jakarta umbrella, and I am also a member of that Jakarta Project Management Committee.
