My name is Vincent Siveton. I born and grow up in France and I live now in Montréal, Canada. I am an IT Advisor@CRIM (Computer Research Institute of Montreal) and I love traveling (see my visited countries!).

Since more 10 years, I've been working as a software engineer and a project manager with emphasis on new emerging technologies/specifications.

My interests are mainly the Open Source, Open Innovation, Technological Survey, Java, Agility, Quality Assurance, Mobility and of course traveling!

I started with Open Source lately, firstly by using products (Apache httpd, my first webapp!) and after by using frameworks (Apache Struts, Commons...) and tools (Apache Ant, Maven). In 2004, I joined the Apache Maven mailing list and after, the classical route: accepted patches, committer (thanks aheritier), PMC and Member (thanks brett).
