this is not a statement of the ASF or of the Apache httpd project... this is my own personal opinion

As someone who tries to follow Apache httpd problem reports and fix as many as possible, I regularly encounter concern (and sometimes even extreme rudeness or hostility) on the part of the Apache user because they feel that their problem is not taken seriously or is otherwise ignored.

The unfortunate reality is that there are not nearly enough Apache httpd developers to properly handle every problem report. We are few, and for the most part we have day jobs that require our full attention in order to keep a roof over our head and food in our belly while we try to help out those in the user community who have encountered problems.

what can you do to help?

Thanks for understanding,
