Hi, my name is Jeff Trawick and I'm proud to be associated with the Apache Software Foundation. I work on Apache httpd and Apache Portable Runtime as much as I can, trying to implement new features when able but more focused on resolving current problems.

I enjoy developing and trying to tune this software on a number of platforms, including Linux, AIX, Solaris, FreeBSD, OS/390, Mac OS X, and sometimes even HP-UX and Windows.

I am lucky to be employed full-time as an Apache developer. Practically anything of value I do at work is available to everyone, and everyone benefits from occasional improvements to ASF software which might have been implemented with our paying customers in mind.

While it is very rewarding to work on these ASF projects, my most important job in life is being a parent to a twelve-year-old daughter and four-year-old son. This in itself is a full-time job.
