Apache Any23

Anything To Triples (any23) is a library, a web service and a command line tool that extracts structured data in RDF format from a variety of Web documents.

Original codebase authors Davide Palmisano and Michele Mostarda are close friends of mine and we co-worked together at Asemantics, one of the the leading Semantic web company in Europe.

When we left the company, they continued doing research on SemWeb technologies and created a beautiful and well known in the Semantic creek, Any23.

During summer 2011, Michele and I met in Rome for a lunch and started thinking about donating Any23 to the ASF: voil, in less than one month we successfully created the Apache Any23 podling!
