FeedReader allows Atom and RSS feeds be easily used on web pages. It is designed to be easy to get started with but have a maximum of flexibility.

Some things to note:

JavaScript security limitations require that XML files come from the same server/domain as the the page they are on. This means that you want to use a remote feed (e.g. Google news, etc), you will need some proxy code to retrieve this and place it on your local server.

Browser security rules don't allow Ajax calls to retrieve XML files if the page is running off a file system (e.g. URL is file///...). It works fine if you are using a web server (or Firefox). This means you can't just double click the demo files in File Explorer and have them work.
