Apache JMeter Nightly Build

This is a TEST BUILD for Apache JMeter. Such nightly builds are generated from the current source repository for testing. These unreleased builds may not even load, may have undocumented features, known defects, and any number of other issues. See the Apache JMeter mailing lists if you have any questions.

The builds are created as a set of zip (or tgz) archive files. The files are called:

• jakarta-jmeter-{version}_bin.zip - JMeter binaries
• jakarta-jmeter-{version}_lib.zip - 3rd party jar files
• jakarta-jmeter-{version}_src.zip - JMeter source
• jakarta-jmeter-{version}_api.zip - JMeter Javadoc (may not be present)

Installing JMeter runtime

N.B. JMeter requires Java 1.4 or later to run.

Download the _bin and _lib files.

Unpack the _bin and _lib archives into the same directory structure

The other archives are not needed to run JMeter.

For building this particular copy of JMeter, you will also need the _src archive, unpacked into the same directory structure. The full sources and required libraries are available from SVN.

Warning - please note!

The nightly builds may or may not work properly - or at all.

If there is a problem with a particular version, it may be worth reporting this on the JMeter-dev mailing list and/or trying again in a day or two.
